Prayer for Deliverance.

1 ^aVindicate me, O God, and ^bplead my case against an ungodly nation;
^{▼▼ Or May You}O deliver me from ^dthe deceitful and unjust man!
2 For You are the ^eGod of my strength; why have You ^frejected me?
Why do I go ^gmourning ^{▼▼ Or while the enemy oppresses}because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 O send out Your ⁱlight and Your truth, let them lead me;
Let them bring me to Your ^jholy hill
And to Your ^kdwelling places.
4 Then I will go to ^lthe altar of God,
To God ^{▼▼ Lit the gladness of my joy}my exceeding ⁿjoy;
And upon the ^olyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.

5 ^pWhy are you ^{▼▼ Or sunk down}in despair, O my soul?
And why are you disturbed within me?
^{▼▼ Or Wait for}Hope in God, for I shall ^{▼▼ Or still}again praise Him,
The ^{▼▼ Or saving acts of}help of my countenance and my God.
